Sorry for my lack of French, I wander if you could help me or guide me in the direction of where I might find help.
I am trying to trace my wife great grandfather. Jean Louis Alexandre Regimbeau, according to the family he was born in c1831 in the St Affrique area, his mother Rose was born in France c1807. He meet his wife Mary Brocken an English governess living in Paris, they are believed to have married in France in the 1850’s as there are no records in England of the marriage. The first English records were of him living in London at the time of the birth of their first child, working as a master glover. English records show him dying in Worcester in 1893, his mother having died in Yeovil, Dorset 1869.
I would be most greatful if you could help me in the first part of my quest, to link him up to Duke Ragimberto of Turin, King of Lombardy and Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire 700/701.
